Narrabri greyhound racing trainer Robert Hobson had another successful day at the weekend, this time in Coonamble on Saturday.

At a Coonamble Greyhound Racing Club non-TAB meeting, Hobson’s two dogs which were in action on the day were both victorious.

In the second race of the day which was run across a 305-metre distance Rosa’s Revenge jumped from box five and secured a two-length win.

In the fourth race of the day, also run across a 305-metre distance, Buckeye jumped from box seven and ran away to a three-quarter-length win.

That race actually finished as a Narrabri Shire quinella, with Wee Waa trainer Colin Anderson’s Buck Wind (box two) placing second.

It could have been a trifecta, but Anderson’s Mr Megatron (box six) finished fourth, just half a length behind the third-placed Daniel Hoskins-trained Bang Bang Boom (box one).

Anderson also had a dog in action in the first race of the meeting.

In the 305-metre race one Oliver’s Mate jumped from box three and finished fifth.

Fellow Wee Waa trainer Timothy Anderson had one dog in action which was Elite Force which jumped from box two in race three and finished sixth.
