Four Narrabri Shire greyhounds had dogs in action at a Gunnedah Greyhound Racing Club TAB meeting yesterday evening.

They were Narrabri’s Robert Hobson, Bellata’s Kevin Campbell and Wee Waa’s Colin and Timothy Anderson.

Hobson and Campbell both had one winner each at the meeting.

In race seven Campbell’s My Lil Louie jumped from box four and sped away to a two-and-a-half-metre win across the 431-metre distance.

Then in the ninth race of the evening the Hobson-trained Talmage (box one) ran a dead heat for first alongside Dozer Mulwee (box two) with the pair unable to be split following a 431-metre run.

Earlier in the meeting two of the Narrabri Shire-trained greyhounds ran to top-three placings in the same race.

That was in race three when Timothy Anderson’s Elite Force (box two) and Hobson’s Buckeye (box one) jumped side-by-side and placed second and third respectively.
