A studio at The Crossing Theatre is the venue for videolink submissions to the Independent Planning Commission’s public hearing into the Narrabri Gas Project.
Registered speakers have been making their presentation to the commissioners since 9.30am today from other locations.
And Narrabri Bowling Club, ‘Sporties’, has been the hub for people engaged in the debate to follow proceedings online.
Organiser Anna Christie, North West Protection Advocacy, said the Sporties team had been ‘very proactive’ in ensuring the club met public health requirements for social distancing.
“We are open to everyone all week,” Anna said. “All welcome.”
“Tuesday and Wednesday are the big days in terms of attendance at The Crossing Theatre, with high profile experts coming to present to the IPC from the studio,” she added.
