Knowledge and luck are two of the biggest factors when it comes to footy tipping, and Narrabri man Tony McMahon is proof that there is also a third – loyalty.

Tony has been a Dragons fan for 55 years so when he submitted his Beat the Biz tips last week of course he had chosen the St George Illawarra Dragons to upset the Parramata Eels away from home.

It was a loyal decision and one which paid off, contributing to Tony achieving his first perfect round of the year.

He was tipping against Business House Challenge leaders McKechnie Bros who took the Eels to beat Tony’s Dragons.

The pair had one more tip different, with Tony taking the Melbourne Storm over the Sydney Roosters.

Tony’s Beat the Biz win saw him win $250 to spend at any of the participating Business House Challenge businesses.
