The Courier has concluded its 2020 readers’ survey and the winning participants have been announced.
Neville Baguley, Judy Pownall and Chris Taylor were the three lucky questionnaire respondents to each receive a $100 prize.
In a heart-warming move, Mr Baguley decided to donate his winnings towards the fundraising appeal for Brett Nolan.
The Courier’s manager Wanda Dunnet thanked the community for the extraordinary amount of responses the newspaper received to the questionnaire.
“We were overwhelmed by the number of response we received. We value the community’s input into the production of The Courier,” she said.
“We were particularly heartened by many of the comments supporting the need of a printed newspaper.
“While one of the objectives of this survey is to grow The Courier’s digital presence, we want to reiterate that the newspaper’s primary objective is to be a printed product.
“We believe strongly in the production of a local, independent printed newspaper.”
