Narrabri Rugby League Football Club is looking forward to plenty of community support for the coming season and what better supporters than former Blues players?

Blues president Peter Doring has invited former clubmen, the ‘Old Blues’, veterans who get together to catch up for coffee each week, to come along to the seven Narrabri home games this season as guests of the club.

Peter handed each ‘Old Blue’ a season member’s pass offering free admission to every home game.

And as a further bonus, the passes are numbered and at the post home game get togethers at Narrabri Golfies, the Blues’ home base, a number will be drawn with a great prize for the pass holder at the club.

“It’s all about giving back,” said Peter. “Meanwhile, we are looking forward to the season with strong teams and anticipating plenty of community support,” he said.

“Onwards and upwards in 2021.”

The ‘Old Blues’ have a regular get together at different Narrabri coffee shops each week, a social tradition which has grown over the recent years.

“Come and join us,” invites an original organiser Doug Heiler. “Everyone is welcome.”
