Wee Waa’s Marinda Nursery kicked off its new liquor licence status with a Mexican night at the nursery on Saturday.
The licence means the nursery customers can enjoy a glass of wine – or beer – to accompany the food menu at the venue from 10am to 10pm.
The Mexican night was a great success and the forerunner of many more events at the nursery, said proprietor Linda Kiem who operates the venue with business partner Penny Vella.
Apart from great food and refreshments, a highlight of the evening was the music from the versatile Jazz Junction.
