Many people will be making a Queen’s Birthday weekend pilgrimage to ‘Kurrumbede’ homestead when the home of famed Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar is open to visitors for an open day on Saturday, June 12. Whitehaven has invested $500,000 in restoring the grand old homestead and gardens.
