On Friday, March 19, an island theme was in the air when revellers gathered to celebrate the 50th birthday celebrations for Narrabri resident Kim Rozendaal.

More than 50 family and friends attended the festivities at the home of Peter and Kim, some travelling from Sydney and the NSW coast to celebrate with Kim.

The atmosphere of the party was well and truly embraced with fabulous decorations, delicious cocktails and guests dressing up to complete the fun-filled theme in style.

The birthday cake was beautifully made and decorated by guest Jacqui Carolan.

Heartfelt speeches were made by Kim’s family, husband Peter Rozendaal and children Michael, Eden and Tristan.

Kim responded to the speeches with gratitude for her family and thanked everyone who had helped her with the decorations and the preparation for the party.

Daughter Eden Rozendaal paid tribute to Kim and said that the party was a wonderful celebration of 50 years.

“It was such a magical night filled with lots of dance and laughter.

“Mum looked so beautiful, and it was so nice to see her surrounded by all those who love her.

“She is an amazing woman, for who I have great respect and love. Mum, thank you for being you.”
