Boggy Ninja, Cruze and Boggabri are four words that are on everyone’s lips since the broadcast of Australia Ninja Warrior series five was telecast Sunday evening.

I don’t know what the decibel score was but the cheer that went up as Cruze appeared on the big screen would have been heard all over Boggabri and possibly beyond.

Starting around 3pm, a massive crowd gathered at the Commercial Hotel in Boggabri to watch the show on the big screen.

Friends, family and supporters travelled from Dubbo, Newcastle, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Boggabri and all places in between.

Others settled in at home and watched the show.

The internet went wild with messages coming and going between Boggabri and the wide world of television watchers.

During the afternoon Cruze Morley and Pete Brien set up a small version of the warped wall and an obstacle course for the supporters.

The children enjoyed trying their skills getting up the wall and swinging from the candles and swinging bars.

Rebekah Duddle was very close to hauling herself up the warped wall, as were Samantha Boswell and Nick Stone.

Dave Watt did a great job swinging across the candles.

Tom Watt excelled and made it up the wall, as did Cameron Valks who had a moon boot on due to a football injury and Jeremiah Talbott had a couple of goes but made it to the top.

Cruze was first cab off the rank on Sunday night’s broadcast of Australia Ninja Warrior and did a fantastic job making his way across the course only to lose his grip on the floating monkey bars,

however, his effort put him in eighth place overall with a time of 3.38.07 on the night and puts him into the semi-final.

Rebecca and Derek Talbott presented Cruze with a celebration cake which he cut and shared with supporters after the show.
