The impact of the latest COVID-19 outbreak continues to take its toll on large events, with the AgQuip field days the latest casualty of the pandemic’s fallout.

The field days, scheduled to take place in August, have been postponed.

Organisers hope to hold the event later in the year rather than cancelling what is the nation’s biggest field day event.

In a statement, organisers said it would consult with its exhibitors.

The Wean Picnic Races, Narrabri Chamber of Commerce Business Awards and other prominent north west events have been postponed or cancelled as a result of the delta strain of the pandemic and new restrictions in regional NSW as well as lockdown measures in metropolitan areas.
