The Namoi Bushman’s Carnival Association staged its Narrabri Campdraft on Saturday, a welcome return for the event – the first staged by the Namoi association since 2017.
The day was a success, but there were a few hurdles – “getting cattle, getting the cattle to the showground, hoping rain wouldn’t halt the campdraft, and of course, COVID considerations,” said secretary Kylie Dampney.
“But the day went very well, particularly on our newly re-surfaced arena.”
