Cinema seats worthy of a five-star rating have been unveiled at The Crossing Theatre.
Narrabri Shire Council has added the seating as a special element to theatre’s cinema experience, with the VIP seating now available to movie-goers at the facility.
Director of corporate and community services, Lindsay Mason, said council secured funding in 2020 to upgrade the two cinemas.
“This consisted of all seats being replaced, new carpet, along with improved accessible seating,” he said.
“Part of the upgrade was to include VIP seating and there are now two seats available for all sessions.”
Mr Mason said the reclining lounges are top of the range, offering comfort and style.
“From feedback received so far, they get a five-star rating,” he said.
The Crossing Theatre is the region’s premier entertainment venue which attracts visitors from near and far.
Mr Mason said the new VIP seating enhances what’s on offer.
“Council is always looking at ways to improve the visitor experience, for both the cinemas and the café and this experience is unique in the region.”
Securing the VIP experience can be made by visiting The Crossing Theatre website. Movie sessions where the VIP seating option is available will be listed on the selected movie when making an online booking.
Patrons are advised that conditions apply.
