Baan Baa Hotel owners, staff and Boggabri Pink Angel committee helpers excelled themselves with a fabulous, fun filled pink night held on Friday, October 8 with money raised going to the McGrath Foundation.

Those who attended were treated to a tasty meal and dessert, along with the opportunity to participate in the fashion parade, raffles, 100 clubs, pink apparel and auction.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions bookings were limited and lots of people were turned away.

The fashion parade was hotly contested and pink and white striped carpet was laid out the front of the hotel door.

Patrons supporting a variety of pink outfits presented themselves to the cheering of a very vocal crowd.

The judges could not come to an agreement so three prizes were awarded.

Third place went to Ethan Many who made a special effort to tie-dye his white shirt a pretty shade of pink only a matter of hours prior to the parade.

Second place went to the dapper auctioneer and his spotters, Jed Brennan, Nick Manchee and Jack Brennan in their pink sports coats, white shirts, pink bow ties and pink hats.

First place went to 15 family and friends in pink Hawaiian shirts.

Two-month-old Ruby Grumley led the group out wearing her little pink outfit and matching booties.

A beautiful hand-crafted coffee table, a box of goodies, and the t-shirt Cruze Morley wore on Australia Ninja Warrior were auctioned.

There was spirited bidding on all items but the coffee table had the auctioneer, Jed Brennan and his spotters remarkably busy.

The successful bid came from Karen Kirkby and Mark Strahle.

The organisers of the night would like to thank everyone one who attended and donated as a preliminary figure of over $3500 was raised on the night.
