There has been more helicopter activity in the skies of Narrabri Shire over the past week as the Westpac Rescue chopper ferries patients from Narrabri and Wee Waa who would normally be transported by the roads which were cut by floodwater. The regular activity of the rescue helicopter, and its flood emergency missions, again underlines the vital role of the free service.
