Councillors have endorsed plans to offer free entry to Narrabri Shire pools on Australia Day, as the council has done in previous years.
In Boggabri, Monster Island (activities for children) will be organised subject to staffing availability.
Cr Cameron Staines moved that the request for free entry be adopted.
It was seconded by Cr Lloyd Finlay.
Based on 2021 figures, 310 patrons attended shire pools on Australia Day.
