The shire community was treated to a spectacular weekend of Narrabri Show entertainment and activities as people from the community and beyond turned out to support the event.

This year marked a return to normal for the show, with pandemic restrictions now almost non-existent.

The Narrabri Show Society worked extra hard to ensure the iconic event had a fantastic line-up of attractions for show-goers.

A mild day on Friday marked a spectacular start before the official opening, Showgirl and life member presentations and rodeo in the evening.

A downpour on Saturday afternoon couldn’t dampen the spirits of show-goers who continued to enjoy the amusements in sideshow alley.

Others sought shelter in the pavilions or enjoyed a hearty meal cooked by the hard working Narrabri Show Auxiliary.

By Saturday evening, the rain had cleared ready for the fireworks spectacular and Saturday night entertainment.

Show society president Jason Orman thanked the community for turning out to support the event.

He paid tribute to the organisation’s many volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of the Narrabri Show.

Mr Orman praised the many businesses that supported this year’s show through sponsorship.
