THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1981: Karl Gerlack, James Kahl and Dave Gebert at work on the Blue Boars clubhouse. Narrabri Rugby Union Club is going from strength to strength both on the playing fields and off. The Blue Boars are now well into the construction of a $65,000 clubhouse at their Dangar Park rugby ground. The venue confirms the club as one of the most solid and progressive union football bodies in country NSW. The clubhouse undertaking is certainly one of the biggest projects ever undertaken by a Narrabri sporting body and is the result of 10 years planning. It should be nearing completion by the middle of the season.
