A UFO by any other name … the United States congress has heard evidence from a Pentagon official that there are many unidentified flying object sightings – and it needs to be determined if they are a security threat for the first time in half a century. Top Pentagon officials have addressed the US government on their investigations. The UFOs are nowadays referred to as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAP but they are evidently the same as the old UFOs we are familiar with. Congress was told there have been 144 documented sightings of UAP between 2004 and 2021.“We are committed to an effort to determine their origin,” Under-secretary of Defence for Intelligence and Security Ronald Moultrie told Congress. “UAP appeared to remain stationary in winds aloft, move against the wind, manoeuvre abruptly, or move at considerable speed, without discernible means of propulsion,” a US intelligence report said. Senior defence officials stressed the potential of UAPs as a security threat and showed videos of UAPs zooming past F18 fighter jets, and small triangular objects in the sky. The US, China, Russia, France and the UK have all conducted their own investigations into UAP. A British government report said the existence of UAPs was ‘indisputable.’ Several aircraft had been destroyed and at least four pilots killed chasing UFOs (UAP) the report said.
