Solasta Performing Arts is a theatre and dramatic arts group based in Narrabri which holds weekly classes for school children between the ages of six and 17.
Solasta held a workshop on Saturday, August 6, with special guest Trent Owers, who is an Australian actor who has extensive training and experience in stage and screen acting.
He has had roles in Netflix Christmas movie Mistletoe Ranch, The Sunshine Club revival, Australian tour of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, WICKED and Draculas Gold Coast, just to name a few.
Trent contacted Sarah Gleeson at Solasta and said he wanted to pass on his knowledge to the children of his hometown, as he remembered annual workshops he took part in as a child, which inspired him with his career.
Sarah said that the students learned so much in the four-hour workshop, which covered drama games and exercises, dance, script analysis, improvisation and the process of an audition.
