Family travelled from Brisbane, Toowoomba, Newcastle and Narrabri to celebrate the occasion of Onus Hardman’s 100th birthday at Whiddon Group’s Weeronga Aged Care in Wee Waa on Saturday, September 3.

Surrounded by her four children, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, Mrs Hardman enjoyed a high tea made by grandson Matthew Keeffe and his wife Amanda.

A beautiful birthday cake was made by great-granddaughter Georgia Hardman.

Among many personal cards and well wishes for her special day, Mrs Hardman received congratulatory letters from the Queen, the Prime Minister, our local member, and the federal member.

When asked her secret to longevity, Mrs Hardman simply said, “just live life”.
