Narrabri crafty crafters meet regularly to learn new skills, form friendships and donate their handicraft to various charities and nursing homes.
Last winter they donated beanies and knee rugs to the Boggabri MPS and recently made another donation of rugs, hospital bags and beanies.
Betty Laird spent time talking to the residents about the group as well as reminiscing with a few long-time friends and friends of the group.
Each rug is unique in its colour combinations and construction.
The Narrabri ladies provided some emergency hospital bags for people who are admitted unexpectedly to hospital through the emergency department.
The bags contain toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a packet of tissues.
