Newcastle’s The Viper Creek Band, one of Australia’s favourite country-rock acts, played to an enthusiastic crowd at the Narrabri RSL Club on Saturday, September 23.
Since 2011, the band have been extensively touring with energetic live performances, complemented with an evolving sound to their loyal following both nationally and internationally.
The band has had many accomplishments with each song release. This includes ARIA top five for their album ‘Just Press Play’ (2018) with four top 10 radio singles
This was later followed by an ARIA number one on the country charts with their follow up album ‘Beautiful Destruction’ (2019) featuring their number one hit single ‘Green Light and fan favourite ‘Australian Girls’.
A strong catalogue of releases was accompanied by nominations for ‘Group or Duo of the Year’ in 2015, 2017, and 2018.
The coveted ‘Oz Artist of the Year’ in 2018 through the fan voted CMC Awards, proves The Viper Creek Band have a well-established following.
The band were also finalists in ‘Group or Duo of the Year’ at the 2020 Golden Guitars.
They have recently released a new single, ‘Starts with a Girl’.
