This year’s Young Woman of the Year competition entrants put their best foot forward at Narrabri Show’s cocktail evening celebration.

Show officials, families and guests attended the function, held at The Exchange last Wednesday evening.

Two entrants have nominated for the senior title while the junior competition will see seven compete for the honour.

The entrants were individually interviewed in front of the cocktail evening gathering, by show vice president and former Narrabri Showgirl Bec Cope.

Organiser of the festivities, and this year’s Young Woman competition steward, Samantha Coppin served as master-of-ceremonies on the night.

The gathering also heard from mayor Darrell Tiemens, who thanked the show society for its continued contribution to Narrabri, this year’s Sydney Royal Young Woman Competition winner Domonique Wyse, show president Ian Schweitzer and Rotaract president Kodey Stanford.

This year’s Young Woman competition judges are Domonique Wyse, Di Burtenshaw and Brad Graham.

The competition’s winners will be announced during the show’s opening ceremony on Friday night.
