This term, Clontarf Narrabri Academy invited the Year 10 Clontarf boys and their families to a dinner to discuss the importance of their subject selections leading into Years 11 and 12 at Narrabri High School.

The boys dressed the part and listened intently to a presentation from Narrabri Clontarf director, Clayton Pursche and North West employment officer Mr Luke Taylor.

Some of the big take home messages for the boys for their senior years at school were:

• To use the support network you have around you, like Clontarf, teachers and staff, friends, family and your community.

• Don’t grow up too quick – enjoy what school and Clontarf bring to the table.

• Think hard about your subjects and make sure you are picking classes to help you succeed in the future.

Thank you to all the families for attending the presentation, we really appreciate the support.

The Clontarf Academy can’t wait to see what these young men will achieve over the coming years.
