On Wednesday, August 7, the torch relay began, and the cauldron was initiated to start the Whiddon Robert Young Olympic games.

There were eight competitors who participated in eight games with the score points added up at the end.

There was lots of cheering and encouragement from the spectators who enjoyed Olympic donuts, watermelon stars and green and gold deserts made by our wonderful kitchen team during the competition.

A medal was awarded for each individual game and the highest points entrants excitedly received their gold, silver and bronze on the podium when the games concluded.
