Nandewar Lamb is all about local

Nandewar Lamb was overwhelmed to win the home-based business category at the Narrabri and District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

The business was launched in April this year at the Drovers’ Campfire at Boggabri.

Nandewar Lamb’s focus is on using local labour and facilities, starting with lamb from their property at Maules Creek, to processing at Warrumbungle Meats in Binnaway and then being prepared and boxed at Craddock’s Butchers in Narrabri.

The lamb is Merino crossed with White Suffolk rams, giving a consistent flavour and tenderness.

Nandewar Lamb looks forward to supplying lambs to as many locals as possible, bypassing the major supermarkets in the process.

For customers outside the Narrabri area, the business has teamed up with ‘Farmers Butchers’ to enable them to deliver Nandewar Lamb Australia-wide.
