A group of Narrabri High School students participated in a EmergencyRedi workshop conducted by Narrabri Shire Council, the Australian Red Cross and SES NSW recently, learning how to prepare and recover from natural disasters.
Through the workshop, the students learn about local risks and the practical, psychological, and social steps you can take to prepare and recover for emergencies and minimise the impacts of disasters and other crises in your life.
The students who participated in the EmergencyRedi workshop came away with valuable knowledge and tools on how to begin preparing yourself and the people most important to you for emergencies.
