Wee Waa Golf Club hosted the 2024 Sledgers Day match on Saturday, and the annual event was once again a hit with the local golfing community.
The three-person ambrose began at 10am and there were 15 teams in attendance with $1000 worth of prizes on offer.
Chris Hartnett, Ben Wilson and Jamie Crutcher were the winning team, runners-up were Ben Russell, Cameron Lennox and Les Ross, and Adam and Brendan Hatton and Kurt Crutcher placed third.
Wee Waa Golf Club announced that it was a great day with money raised going back to the club. The club also thanked the sponsors who made the day possible.
Wee Waa Golf Club will host three more games before the year ends. This Sunday, December 15, will be the monthly mug and an individual stableford ham slam. An individual stableford will then be held on Sunday, December 22, and it will be followed by an individual vs par event on Sunday, December 29.
