Narrabri District Cricket Association’s 2024/25 season awards presentation was held at Collins Park on Saturday after the two grand finals had been contested.
Wilga Hotel Razorbacks’ Jack Tate was named cricketer of the year in his debut NDCA season, while Sign Print Stitch youngster Fletcher Whan was named junior cricketer of the year.

District awards:
Club championship – Narrabri RSL Cricket Club.
Junior cricketer of the year – Fletcher Whan (Sign Print Stitch Colts).
First grade under-21 player of the year – Will Ford (RSL).
Districts representative player of the year – Jack Tate (Wilga Hotel Razorbacks).
Cricketer of the year – Jack Tate (Wilga Hotel Razorbacks).
First grade awards:
Best and fairest – Jack Tate (Wilga Hotel Razorbacks) with 11 votes.
Batting average and aggregate – Greg Melton (Wilga Hotel Razorbacks) with 228 runs at 57.05.
Bowling average – Dylan Smith (Wilga Hotel Razorbacks) with 15 wickets at 6.53.
Bowling aggregate – Jack Tate (Wilga Hotel Razorbacks) with 19 wickets.
Most improved first grade player – Zack Doring (Wilga Hotel Razorbacks).
Premiers – RSL (record-equaling fifth in a row).
Grand final player of the match – Nathan Trindall (RSL) who took 1-13 from five overs in the first innings and then top-scored with 45* off 55 ball in the second innings.
Second grade awards:
Best and fairest – Beau Tomlinson (RSL) with nine votes.
Batting average and aggregate – Mick Dowdell (Sign Print Stitch Colts) with 203 runs at 101.5.
Bowling aggregate – Luke Baker (RSL), Justin Saunders (RSL), and Chris Smith (Tourist Hotel) all with 11 wickets.
Bowling average – N/A (minimum to qualify is 12 wickets).
Most improved second grade player – Beau Tomlinson (RSL).
Premiers – Sign Print Stitch Colts in their debut season.
Grand final player of the match – Kyne Allen (Sign Print Stitch Colts) who took 2-16 from six overs.
