On Friday, July 25, Narrabri High School hosted a Girls’ Rugby 7s Gala Day held at Dangar Park.
Our U16s team consisted of; Eva Goodwin, Rianna Gibbs, Holly Anderson, Rya Knox, Kirra Mason, Bella Bakhuis and Fleur Eather. The girls had two fantastic games winning against Moree and unfortunately going down in a close game to Warialda High School.
The U18s team played against Macintyre High School who proved to have a very strong team. Narrabri unfortunately went down in a hard-fought game. The team consisted of Maxine O’Connor, Paganne Ryman, Laura Tuckey, Brielle Bourke, Sienna Earle, Lillie-Mae Carter, Sienna Wallington and Callie Lawlor.
Both teams are commended on their efforts as well as their display of sportsmanship and respect towards each other and their opponents.
