Boggabri Hospital Auxiliary secretary Noreen Boehm accepted a cheque from Boggabri Rotary Club president and treasurer, Michael Nott and Robyn Skillen.
The Boggabri United Hospital Auxiliary wishes to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the Boggabri Rotary Club for their very generous donation.
This significant contribution will make a real difference in supporting the ongoing work of the UHA and improving the wellbeing of our local community.
Although the Boggabri Rotary Club is a small group, their members are known for working quietly and diligently in the background, providing invaluable support to various community initiatives.
The main fundraising activity for the Rotary members is the recycling of car and truck batteries.
The fundraising also supported the recent Small Schools Public Speaking contest with a barbecue lunch, gifts for the adjudicators and books and trophies for the school students.
Their dedication and generosity continue to make a positive impact in Boggabri, and their recent donation exemplifies the spirit of community that defines our town.
Like most of the community groups Boggabri Rotary would welcome new members.
