The Narrabri Public School fete was a buzz of excitement and enthusiasm as we opened our gates and welcomed the Narrabri community to enjoy everything we had on offer.

The delicious food was a huge hit, with 3/4AW’s nachos selling out before 7:30. The longest lines of the night belonged to Year 6’s Scare House and Year 5’s Laser Tag, while there was non-stop activity at 1S and 4C’s active games and the always-popular yabbie races.

Guests also enjoyed 2K’s Sand Art Corner, creative face painting by the talented Heidi Gleeson, and colourful hairspray styling and tattoos from past students, Brielle and Rhianna. The Bottle Stall run by KB and KS was almost completely sold out, and balloons from 3-6Y and 3K could be seen floating everywhere among the crowd.

There was plenty of entertainment from the Karaoke stall, and everyone kept refreshed thanks to 1/2WF and K-6C’s drinks, treats, and lollies stall. Rotary’s barbecue was absolutely delicious, and the monster raffle proved as popular as ever, with a fantastic range of prizes generously donated by families and local businesses.

A huge thank you to all our dedicated parent helpers who ran stalls throughout the night – without your support, our fete simply wouldn’t have been possible.

We also extend our gratitude for the donation of the hire of chairs and tables and drinks from two local businesses. We’d like to thank our entire school community for their wonderful support of the fete, and extend special thanks to our incredible staff and P&C for their tireless efforts in making this event such a success.
