Narrabri Rotaract held a special trivia night and auction at the Tourist Hotel on Friday, November 21 in support of local legend, Richard Scilley.

The night staged a few fantastic rounds of trivia followed by a raffle organised by Narrabri RFS and the live auction with some impressive prizes won.

Narrabri Rotaract member Dylan Dwyer said it was a great night.

“It was definitely our biggest, easily, with 120 people. It was a really good turnout and I’m very happy with it,” Dylan said.

“The raffle and auction had some really good prizes too, including a 2001 Blues jersey signed by Frank Fish.

Narrabri Rotaract were excited and thrilled when tickets to this event sold out two weeks before the trivia night and were delighted to see everyone show up on the night.

“Many people have done a lot of work over the years, and it was lovely to see the community giving back to us.

“We were all more than happy to help, and we really appreciate the community and the RFS for the efforts and contributions to this night,” Dylan said.

Richard Scilley is known as a true blue legend, who has given decades of service to the Narrabri community and is now sadly facing some serious health challenges.

As he is self-employed, he’s always been first to lend a hand – and Narrabri Rotaract did an amazing job of giving that support back.
