Narrabri High School recently hosted its annual presentation night at the Betty Berriman Hall, an event celebrating student achievement and highlighting the strength of the school community.
The evening was supported by the school’s valued sponsors, whose continued generosity plays a vital role in enhancing educational and extracurricular opportunities for students.
The program featured two musical performances that added to the celebratory atmosphere of the evening.
Year 9 music students performed Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley, while Year 11 music students delivered a performance of One by U2.
The evening also marked the launch of the Narrabri Athlete Acceleration Program (NAAP), a gifted and talented sports program supporting students with high potential in sport.
The program will commence in 2026, with successful students announced as Angelo Afoa, Edward Bennett, Chayce Browning, Fleur Eather, Caitlin Evans, Hayley Gordon, Hemi Mason, Gabriel O’Connor, Frazer Penberthy, Cruze Ryan, Lincoln Saunders and Ryan Williams.
Presentation night also provided an opportunity to farewell long-serving staff members Rozina Broderick and Cindy Neil.
Both were formally acknowledged for their dedication, professionalism and significant contribution to Narrabri High School over many years.
The evening additionally included the investiture of the 2026 school leadership team, formally recognising students who will undertake leadership roles within the school community in the coming year.
Throughout the evening, students were recognised for their academic success, leadership and commitment.
A number of students received multiple special awards in recognition of their outstanding achievements across the year.
