The Namoi Valley Christian School community came together recently for the commissioning of its Year 10 cohort.

At the commissioning service, four student leaders for 2026 were presented with their leadership badges and the portfolios they will be looking after for the year were announced.

A highlight was when the students received and then proudly put on their Year 10 jerseys.

The school extended warm congratulations to the 2026 Year 10 students and introduced the newly appointed leaders: Scarlett Wohling, Lennon Simmonds, Elizabeth Smith and Vienna Eather. Speaking with The Courier, the students described the honour of being appointed to the leadership team and shared their hopes for the year ahead.

Scarlett Wohling expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am honoured to be a student leader”, and looks forward to “building a better school community.”
