Thalia Phelps celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, March 14 at her Barwan Street home, which was beautifully decorated with balloons and pretty tissue paper flowers made by her daughter-in-law Vicky Phelps.

Guests travelled from Rowena, Dubbo, Newcastle, Forster, Canberra, Longreach, Townsville, Bundaberg, Gunnedah, Perth as well as Narrabri, to attend the family gathering, which was hosted by Thalia’s son, Robert and daughter-in-law Vicky.

The chocolate mud cake was made and decorated by Watson’s Kitchen.

There were no speeches (by request) – just lots of family stories which circulated all afternoon and well into the night.

The family thoroughly enjoyed coming together for such a special occasion.

Cards were received from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Greg Piper, Governor of NSW Margaret Beazley AC KC, Member for Barwon Roy Butler, NSW Premier Chris Minns, and federal Member for Parkes Jamie Chaffey.
