Narrabri Industrial Network has painted a positive picture for an action-packed year ahead.
The organisation held a Christmas celebration for members and invited guests at the Tourist Hotel recently where the group’s president, Justin Smith, reflected on the achievements as well as looking forward to what next year could hold.
Among the organisation’s plans for next year is a major event in April.
Mr Smith said this would be the network’s gala event and is something the group is very excited about.
“This is an event that we really want to put on the map and make it an annual event for Narrabri,” he said.
Mr Smith said the group planned on having politicians, major businesses and media involved in its signature event.
“We really want to showcase Narrabri but also showcase our businesses and what we can offer and really put it at that higher level.”
Mr Smith said the group is also interested in having a charity involved in its major fundraiser.
A trade show also features among its plans for next year.
“It will benefit everyone,” Mr Smith told the gathering.
