More Aussie honours for Narrabri pistol shooter Jason Anderson

Narrabri Pistol Club shooter Jason Anderson has been selected onto the Australian Metallic Silhouette Team for a third consecutive year and will shoot at the International Metallic Silhouette Shooting Union World Cup to be held in Finland in August. The Narrabri man will team up with Manilla’s Tim Davey and Inverell’s Glen Anderson at the event as they go on the hunt for more medals. Narrabri Pistol Club hosts 43rd annual John Ford Metallic Silhouette 200-metre Big Bore Steel Challenge

The prestigious Steel Challenge Team handicap trophy was won by Merriganowry Pistol Club shooters Matt Seears and Peter Cooch, only just defeating Narrabri’s Chase and Jack Ford in second place and Inverell’s Glen Anderson and Tim Davey in third place. Boggabri Kangaroos may be sitting on top of the Group 4 Rugby League first grade ladder after two wins from as many matches so far but coach Shane Rampling has declared that they need to get much better if they are going to be one of the top teams this year.
