Ashley Watt has been practising his moves in the lead up to Stars of Narrabri.

Partnering with Makenzie Ford from In Motion Dance Studio, Ashley plans to dazzle the audience with their routine.

“We even have a couple of back up dancers from the dance studio, including my lovely daughter,” Ashley said.

While a dance contest is a little out of his realm of comfort, Ashley is determined to give the event his all.

“I don’t like being the centre of attention and, while I am a dance dad, I really can’t dance myself,” he said.

“Putting these two things together, I am not really sure why I was chosen for this honour, but someone obviously saw some very, very well-hidden talent here.”
