The Courier’s Mother’s Day photo competition was very popular among readers, with over 60 photos entered in just a few short days.
The newspaper was overwhelmed by your support and ended up drawing a winner at random, since there were too many wonderful photos to pick from.
Robina Mowle won the competition with a photo of her and her two sons, one of whom – Jordy – sent in the photo.
Mrs Mowle was shocked by the win, thanking The Courier and The Crossing Theatre for the prize.
“It isn’t often I win these kinds of things,” she said.
Jordy suggested his mum and dad use the prize together, so Robina will be taking her husband Pat along with her to the movie and morning tea.
