Parts of the North West were lashed by heavy rainfall late last week, with the Bureau of Meteorology issuing flood alerts and warnings in response to the torrential downpour.
Narrabri received the brunt of the late-week deluge on Thursday with 45.2mm recorded.
On Friday, 6.6mm was recorded by the bureau.
While a flood alert was initially issued for locations along the Namoi River, the river level sat just below the Violet Street bridge at Narrabri for most of the later part of the week.
The rise in water volume in Narrabri Creek did see parts of the grassed area near The Crossing Theatre covered by water.
In Boggabri, the river level peaked just below the minor flood level.
Wee Waa, however, saw a flood warning issued with the Namoi River rising above the minor flood level.
Following almost 100mm recorded in Gunnedah at the start of the week, just 8.6mm was recorded on Thursday and 14.8mm on Friday.
Moree saw 53mm fall on Thursday.
