Police attended a Delaney Avenue property on October 30 following reports of a physical altercation between two people.

A 21-year-old woman is alleged to have stabbed a 23-year-old man in the torso.

The woman was charged with reckless wounding and contravening an AVO.

She was granted conditional bail and will appear in court on January 23.

Subsequent police inquiries revealed that the two people had been involved in a domestic dispute earlier that day.

The man was treated at Tamworth Hospital.

Upon his release, he was charged with three counts of contravening an AVO, two counts of common assault, two counts of affray, two counts of intimidation, one count of resisting police and one count of malicious damage.

He was granted conditional bail to appear in court on January 25.

Diesel theft at Tarriaro

The theft of diesel was reported from a rural property on Maules Creek Road, Tarriaro, between November 12 and November 16.

One-hundred litres of diesel was stolen from a tractor while the same amount was also stolen from a harvester.

Money stolen from Maitland Street premises

A male person of interest stole money from the till of a Maitland Street premises at 5.20pm on November 10.

The man entered the premises, making his way to the kitchen where money was stolen.

Police have described the man as wearing a hi-vis jacket, cargo pants and a wide-brim hat.

Steal from motor vehicle

A UHF antenna and mobile phone antenna were stolen from a motor vehicle located outside The Vault at Merton Street, Boggabri.

The incident occurred between 6.3pm on November 24 and 5.30am on November 25.

Mobile phone stolen

The theft of a mobile phone from the Narrabri swimming pool was reported to police on November 25.

Police inquiries and the use of phone locating software tracked the phone to a Hinds Street address where it was located.

Driver’s positive detection to methamphetamine

A silver sedan was stopped by a police patrol on Tibbereena Street on November 29.

The driver, a 19-year-old woman, was subject to both breath and saliva testing.

The woman was also found to be driving unlicensed.

She returned a negative breath test, however, her saliva test returned an alleged positive detection to methamphetamine.

The woman was taken to Narrabri police station for secondary testing. Police are awaiting results from further analysis.

Alleged drug find in vehicle in Hinds Street

Police conducting a patrol in Hinds Street stopped a silver sedan on December 4.

A search of the vehicle located a bag containing drug paraphernalia and two grams of methamphetamine.

A phone, laptop and journal were also seized by police.

Police charged a 19-year-old woman with possessing a prohibited drug.

Theft from Narrabri Public School

A 20-year-old man and 18-year-old woman broke into a building at Narrabri Public School on December 4.

The pair broke into a building through a window and stole a laptop.

The following day, they both attended Narrabri police station to hand themselves in following the incident.

They were each charged with aggravated break-and-enter in company.

Break-and-enter at Wee Waa

The theft of a mobile phone was reported from a Wee Waa motel room on November 14.

Police were able to locate the phone, however, are unable to ascertain who stole the item.

Attempted steal from motor vehicle

An attempted steal from motor vehicle was reported at the Wee Waa Showgrounds in the evening of November 13 and early hours of November 14.

The vehicle’s door was ajar and it appeared the vehicle had been rifled through.

Theft from Wee Waa business

A 39-year-old woman received a criminal infringement notice after the theft of items from a Wee Waa business.

She was issued with a $300 infringement notice.

Vehicle stolen from Rose Street

A motor vehicle was stolen from a Rose Street unit between 2am and 3am on November 27.

The vehicle was later located at Boundary Street and was subject to forensic analysis.

Incidents at Wee Waa units

The resident of a Mitchell Street unit reported that the power had been cut off at his property in the evening of November 27.

That same evening, a resident of a Rose Street unit reported hearing a loud bang outside her property.

The victim noticed a change to flyscreen on her property.

Mountain bike stolen

The theft of a mountain bike from a Mitchell Street property in Wee Waa was reported.

The bike was stolen between 8pm and 10pm on December 2.
