NARRABRI FC has tightened its hold on third position on the Namoi Soccer League ladder after edging out Moree Next Gen 3-2 in a closely contested match.

Playing their first game after a two-week break, Narrabri returned to the field with players wearing the club’s new playing kit for the first time. The jerseys and shorts feature the club’s new sponsors and marked the beginning of a new chapter for the side.

The match was played in good spirit, with Narrabri FC lending several players to Moree Next Gen after the visitors were unable to field a full team.

Narrabri’s attack was led by Blake Stride, who found the back of the net twice, while Sital Nepal also added his name to the scoresheet.

The victory sees Narrabri maintain valuable competition points as the race for finals positions begins to heat up.

James Stuart was recognised for his outstanding performance, earning the Domino’s Narrabri Player of the Match award.
