Kevin Baguley and Lorraine Scott are Narrabri Bowling Club’s mixed pairs winners

Kevin Baguley and Lorraine Scott are the Narrabri Bowling Club mixed pairs winners for 2025–2026.

They defeated Larry Scott and Eva Sadler in the final. The score after 17 ends was 28–8.

In the ladies singles played on Thursday:

Cindy Neil defeated Kay Carolan 25–14; Helen Woodward defeated Di Chessells 25–16.

In the men’s singles:

Stuart Coleman defeated Col Armstrong 25–14; Tony Redman defeated Graham Rose 25–7; Bruce Tomlinson defeated Richard Little 25–10.

In a game worthy of a final, Peter Small defeated Dave Dewar.

On the 13th end the score was 13-all, 15th end 15-all, 19th end 19-all, 22nd end 22-all, and on the 26th end 24-all.

Peter ended the game scoring one shot on the 27th end. The final score was 25–24.

Social bowls was played on 10 September.

David Briggs, Rhonda Fitzgerald and Keith Stoltenberg defeated Marie Redman, Lindsay Myles (visitor) and Kay Dewson 22–14.

Yvonne Hardman and Bruce Tomlnson defeated Trish Allison and Rob Pownall 20–18.

Austin Crampton (visitor) and Doug Mackereth defeated Dee Fletcher and Cecile 18–9.

There will be no bowls on Thursday 17 September, as the bowlers will form a guard-of-honour for the late Heather Caton.
