A VARIETY of Stableford and Ambrose events have been held at the Narrabri Golfie.
The Wednesday nine-hole Stableford Medley on 24 June saw a closely contested finish, with Mitch Cuell claiming victory on a countback after finishing on 19 points alongside runner-up Jordan Watene.
In the Ladies’ 18-hole Stableford, Robin Ford produced a consistent round to take the honours with 35 points, while Kate Pitman claimed the nearest-the-pin prize on the 12th hole.

The Saturday 18-hole Stableford Medley on 27 June attracted another strong field, with impressive scoring across all three grades.
Taylor Cooper topped A-grade with a 40-point round and also collected the nearest-the-pin prize on the eighth hole.
Ryley Tout finished runner-up on 38 points, while Jye Manton secured third place with 36 points.
B-grade honours went to Ken Nolan with 37 points, ahead of Wayne Saunders (35) and James Pitman (34).

C-grade was led by Yvonne Findley, whose 40-point round earned victory.
James Cable finished second with 38 points, followed by Ingrid Moulds on 37 points.
Nearest-the-pin winners were Jake Donaldson (5th), Taylor Cooper (8th), Adam Taylor (12th) and Kane Voysey (16th).

Sunday 28 June featured nine-hole Two-Person Ambrose competitions for both men and women.
In the men’s event, Will Coldham and Kane Voysey combined superbly to take the win with a score of 31.
Jye Manton and Riley Tout claimed second place on a countback after carding 33.25, edging Ken Nolan and Trinity Kelly into third on the same score.

Kane Voysey and Will Coldham were winners in the men’s Two-Person Ambrose.
Wayne Saunders and Paul Thomas finished fourth with 34.5.
Riley Tout claimed the nearest-the-pin prize on the 12th hole, while Mav Nott was closest on the 16th.
The ladies’ event was won by Melissa Hancock and Louise Penberthy with a score of 33.75.

Second place in the ladies’ Ambrose went to Kim Bentley and Melissa Hall.
Melissa Hall and Kim Bentley finished second with 35.5, ahead of Peggy Penberthy and Chrissy Southwell in third on 40.5.
Robyn Smith and Lisa Kelly rounded out the placings in fourth with 42.5.
Louise Penberthy also claimed the nearest-the-pin prize on the 12th hole.
