Ten dancers and their partners transformed The Crossing Theatre stage on Saturday night with incredible performances to raise money for the Cancer Council.

More than 300 people filled the auditorium to support the Stars of Narrabri and their fantastic fundraising efforts.

Cancer Council officials announced that the Stars alone had raised almost $42,000 with more money expected to flow in.

Kate Bakhuis was crowned judges’ choice with 27 points while people’s choice was awarded to Mary Whitehouse.

Deputy mayor Cameron Staines was awarded the highest fundraiser.
