Radio station 2MaxFM has welcomed four new hosts this year.
The volunteer-run station was on the hunt for some fresh new personalities to join the team and create their own new programs earlier this year, as you may have read in The Courier.
The new hosts include Kane Watson, Hugh Hunter, Gemma Ferguson and Rob Edge.
Kane and Hugh, two young Baan Baa boys, have started a comedy talk show.
You can tune in to hear their program from 6pm to 7pm every Tuesday.
Gemma, a cadet journalist at The Courier is on air on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm.
Her program, Gem’s gems, features a mix of pop, alternative and party music with a ton of 2000s classics.
Rob, Tatts Hotel licensee, plays popular tracks from the 60s through to now.
You can tune in to hear his program, 2Max hitz and history, from 8pm on Wednesdays.
2MaxFM have welcomed the new hosts with open arms, encouraging them to develop their on-air abilities in a supportive, comfortable environment.
The team is always welcoming new volunteers, get in touch with station manager Cassie Boyd to learn more about becoming a radio host – no prior experience is required and 2MaxFM trains all new hosts.
