Narrabri Golf Club hosted its annual Lions charity day on Sunday, which helped raise valuable funds for the Narrabri Lions Club.
The event was an 18-hole four-person ambrose, which saw 68 players take part across 17 teams.
The winners with a score of 53.625 were Mark and Kim Bentley, Cameron Lennox and Melissa Hancock, who won by less than a point from the runners-up Tash and Troy Nott and Vanessa and Jamie Charlton, who scored 54.5.
In third place were Leisa Eather, Ken Nolan, Tanya Nolan and Kate Wheeler with 55.25, in fourth place were Brady Jenkins, Matt Conroy, Brendan Jenkins and Dave McInnes with 55.875, in fifth place were Melissa Hall, Drew Penberthy and Trinity and Lisa Kelly with 57, in sixth place were Will Brooks, Karleigh Cook, Nicole Cooper and Brendan Kramel with 57.125, in seventh place were Nick Christakos, Ben Finnigan, Tyrone Griffiths and Travis Heffernan with 57.25, and in eighth place were Peter Ward, Nathan Dicks, Rod Hall and Bob Taylor with 57.625.
Nearest to pin winners were Nick Christakos (men’s eighth), Ken Nolan (men’s 16th), Dancy Hannaford (ladies’ fifth) and Steph Brooker (ladies’ 12th).
Long drive winners were Cameron Lennox (men’s A-grade), Tom Dinham (men’s B-grade), Brady Jenkins (men’s C-grade), Leisa Eather (ladies’ A-grade), Melissa Hancock (ladies’ B-grade) and Indi Canfell (ladies’ C-grade).
