Local pre-schoolers and their parents were invited to Narrabri Public School in May, for a kindergarten meet and greet.
The occasion gave the children, who are set to start their primary education in 2022, a chance to meet each other and some of the teachers.
Sunny weather made for the perfect conditions to enjoy the afternoon outside in the school’s grassy play area.
A reading nook, mini soccer field, ring toss, kids’ croquet and colouring in were set up for the children to enjoy.
Food and drinks were on offer, including sweet treats like cupcakes, as well as other snacks and sandwiches.
